Site Audit Saves UK Plastics Reprocessor Thousands

In an attempt to reduce energy costs, the customer approached Valveforce to undertake a site audit, and subsequently to provide competitive recommendations on their findings.

During the insulation audit, which included the steam distribution system, condensate return system and boiler feed water system; our engineers identified many exposed areas where radiant heat loss was costing the business greatly in wasted energy.

The resulting report included the recommendation to install insulation jackets, which our engineers subsequently supplied and fitted, and detailed cost saving measures in excess of £8,000 per annum in a payback period of only 7 months.
