VALVEFORCE CEMENT IMPORTANT ORDER IN NIGERIA FOR AN ENERGY CONTRACTOR
Valveforce won a major order to supply 12” stainless steel gate valves to an Energy Contractor, who operate the largest manufacturing cement plant in sub-Saharan Africa.
For Solihull-based Valveforce, who have recently tripled the size of their operation, this latest contract marks its growing capability to service overseas enquiries, including requirements made by fully integrated conglomerates.
The energy contractor has invested some £4.2bn in the cement industry in recent years, with plans to make the Obajana plant in Nigeria the world's biggest.
Dave Samuels, the Energy Contractors Procurement Manager commented: “Valveforce clearly wanted our business and were quick to respond, accurate and helpful in their specifying, competitively priced and able to deliver to our schedules. A very impressive service that gave us immediate confidence”.
Valveforce also supply brass, bronze and cast-iron gate valves, as well as the stainless-steel type that will be used extensively in the Nigeria plant.
