Boiler NDT Preparation
Valveforce were asked to complete the NDT preparation on 3 boilers. Each boiler had a limited and short shutdown period; aligned to avoid the customers production being disrupted to a minimum. Valveforce accommodated and organised its Engineers to facilitate the customers timescales.
What was the problem?
A boiler NDT inspection is carried out every 5 years; a requirement to check its integrity and safety. The preparation is carried out by removing any cladding and lagging to expose the boilers welds. These are checked and the boiler returned to how it was found following a successful inspection.
If any issues are raised, Valveforce’s Engineers are on hand to complete any repair work required to pass inspection.
