What is a Chilled Water Skid Package?
A chilled water skid package is a fully assembled, pre-engineered cooling system that integrates pumps, valves, pipework, instrumentation, controls and ancillary equipment onto a single structural frame.
Designed for rapid installation and commissioning, skid packages are factory tested before delivery, reducing on-site labour and ensuring consistent performance. They are commonly used to distribute chilled water between chillers and process equipment, HVAC systems or manufacturing facilities.

Inside the Chilled Water Skid Package
How It Works
Chilled water is circulated from the chiller through the skid package using high-efficiency pumps. The integrated pipework, valves and controls regulate flow and pressure before distributing the chilled water to air handling units, fan coil units or industrial process equipment.
After absorbing heat from the process or building, the warmed water returns to the chiller where it is cooled before recirculating through the system.

Codes, Standards & Certifications
Heatxforce build pressure equipment in accordance with PD5500 and ASME VIII Pressure vessel codes whilst conforming to the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and UKCA Pressure Equipment Safety Regulations (PESR), which are mandatory inspection requirements applicable to pressure vessels and systems.
Our welding procedures are in accordance with ISO 15614-1 and ASME IX.
Welder qualifications are in accordance with ISO 9606-1 and ASME IX.
All of our welding related qualifications are certified by TUV Nord.
