Accounts Executive

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Executive to join our team. In this role, you will support the finance function by accurately processing purchase and sales invoices, resolving supplier and customer queries, and assisting with reconciliations and credit control. You will also provide broader support to the Technical and Commercial teams, making this a varied and rewarding position suited to a detail-oriented individual in a fast-paced environment.

Our Details:  

The Force Group is a dynamic and developing industrial and manufacturing business based in Solihull, West Midlands. The Force Group consists of 4 growing companies: Valveforce, Heatxforce, Controlsforce and Pumpforce.

Description:

  • Process all purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring validity and correct coding. Resolve any discrepancies with suppliers
  • Raise and issue sales invoices for all dispatched orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt delivery to customers. Resolve any billing queries from customers
  • Support Finance Manager with other tasks such as supplier reconciliations and credit control
  • Support the Technical and Commercial teams as required, including taking phone calls and passing to the correct person

The Job

  • Part time / permanent (15 – 25 hours, work pattern negotiable)
  • Up to £30k basic pay (full time equivalent)
  • 23 days holiday (pro-rated dependant on hours), pension scheme.
  • Based in Solihull, West Midlands however occasional home working may be considered subject to role requirements
  • Reporting into the Finance Manager

About You

  • PC literate; word & Excel, web based skills
  • AAT qualification or similar would be beneficial or recent experience working in a similar finance role
  • Friendly and professional telephone manner
  • Flexible and proactive team player
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You’ll want to make improvements and bring new ideas
